Data Deletion
How to delete connected-account data, projects, or your entire EggClip account.
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Every deletion path below is available to every user. Deletions are honored within 30 days, and we confirm completed requests by email when you ask us by email.
Instagram data
If you connected an Instagram professional account, we store its username, account ID, account type, profile picture, the token that authorizes publishing, and records of posts published through EggClip. To delete all of it, use any one of these:
- In EggClip: open your workspace's settings, go to Connections, and disconnect Instagram. The stored token and account data are deleted.
- In Instagram: remove EggClip under Settings → Security → Apps and Websites. Instagram notifies us and we delete the stored data.
- By email: write to support@eggclip.com from your account address and ask for your Instagram data to be deleted.
YouTube data
If you connected a YouTube channel, we store its name, ID and thumbnail, and the OAuth tokens that authorize uploads. To delete:
- In EggClip: disconnect the channel in your workspace's connection settings — the stored tokens and channel data are deleted.
- In Google: revoke EggClip's access on the Google security settings page. The stored tokens stop working, and remaining YouTube data is deleted within 30 days.
- By email: ask at support@eggclip.com.
Projects and media
Deleting a project inside EggClip deletes its uploads, generated media, and renders from our storage.
Your entire account
Email support@eggclip.com from your account address and ask for account deletion. We delete the account, its sole-member workspaces, their projects and media, and all connected-platform data within 30 days, then confirm by email. Billing records are retained where accounting law requires it; everything else goes.
