How long can a long-form video be?

Up to ten minutes. Anything past three minutes gets treated as long-form and written in chapters rather than as one continuous block.

What makes it different from a Short?

The script is structured in chapters so it survives past the first minute, and it renders 16:9 for the watch page rather than 9:16.

Does it check its facts?

On topics that need them it researches first, keeps the claims that trace back to a source, and works from a dated view of the subject rather than assuming what year it is.
