Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and EggClip ("EggClip", "we"). By creating an account or using eggclip.com you accept them. If you use EggClip for an organization, you accept them for that organization too.

Accounts and workspaces

You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission. Keep your credentials to yourself; what happens under your account is your responsibility. Work in EggClip lives in workspaces — subscriptions and credits belong to a workspace, not to a user, and a workspace's members share its balance.

Plans, billing and renewal

Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or annually at the prices shown on the pricing page. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period and keeps renewing until you cancel. Cancel any time in your workspace's billing settings or by writing to support@eggclip.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and access continues until then. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, so their name may appear on your statement. Refunds are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Credits

Generation is metered in prepaid usage credits. Every price is shown before you commit, and nothing is charged without your approval of the quote.

• Plan credits arrive with each billing period and are replaced — not added to — at renewal. Unused plan credits do not roll over.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases. Pack credits never expire and are spent only after the period's plan credits run out.
• New workspaces receive a one-time starting grant of credits. It never renews.
• If a generation fails on our side, the credits it consumed are refunded to your balance automatically.
• Credits are not money: they have no cash value, are not transferable between workspaces, and can only be exchanged for generation inside EggClip.

Your content and generated output

You keep ownership of everything you bring to EggClip. To operate the service we need a limited licence to host, process, and transmit that content — for example, sending your brief to an AI provider or storing a render — and that licence ends when you delete the content. To the extent we hold any rights in output generated for you, we assign them to you: your videos are yours, including commercially.

Two caveats on output. First, AI-generated material may not be protectable by copyright in every jurisdiction, and similar prompts can produce similar results for other users; we cannot promise exclusivity over a style or a coincidence. Second, stock media and library music inside a render (from Pexels, Pixabay, Giphy, Openverse, Wikimedia, or our curated library) stay under their own licences. Those licences permit use inside your published videos but not, for example, extracting a stock clip and reselling it on its own, using content that features recognisable people in a misleading or offensive way, or using trademarked material as if it were yours. Some openly-licensed assets (such as Creative Commons works from Openverse or Wikimedia) require attribution in your published video — that attribution is your responsibility.

Acceptable use

You may not use EggClip to create or publish:

• content that impersonates a real person, or deepfakes — media presenting a real person as saying or doing something they did not;
• voice clones of real people made without their documented consent;
• sexual or pornographic content, whether real or AI-generated;
• content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property — including generating recognisable franchise characters;
• deceptive content presented as fact, scams, spam, harassment, or anything unlawful where you or your audience are.

We may refuse to generate, remove content, or suspend accounts that break these rules. Rights holders can report infringement to support@eggclip.com; we investigate every report and take down infringing material.

Publishing to YouTube

EggClip uses YouTube API Services to publish videos to channels you connect. By connecting a YouTube channel or using EggClip's YouTube publishing features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy; how EggClip handles it, and how to revoke access, is described in our Privacy Policy.

Publishing to Instagram

Publishing to a connected Instagram professional account is subject to Meta's own terms for that account. EggClip is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, YouTube, Meta, or Instagram.

On every platform, what gets published from your account is your responsibility: you choose what to publish, and you are the publisher of record for its content and its compliance with the platform's rules.

The service

We aim to keep EggClip available and improving, but it is provided "as is": we do not promise uninterrupted availability, that every generation will succeed (failed generations refund their credits), or that generated content is accurate — review AI output before you publish it. We may change or discontinue features; if a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will give notice before it takes effect.

Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You can stop using EggClip and request account deletion at any time (see Data deletion). We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with credit for unused paid time except in cases of abuse. Sections that by nature survive termination — content ownership, liability, billing records — do.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. For material changes we will give notice — by email or in the product — before they take effect; the date above always reflects the current revision. Continued use after the effective date means the revised terms apply.
